I
was told to be a teacher.
When
I left college to pursue the twinkle I had in my heart —
the one that said there is something different
and more for me out there — my family
just about disowned me. My path derailed a bit until I gained
the strength I needed to say "Why do I care what other
people think? . . . I’m gonna do what God put me here
to do!"
Think
about how this may have been different had I the support system
to say to me . . . "You’re not crazy." "Perhaps
there is something else out there better for you." "Let
me help you find yourself."
This
